It was a blog in the beginning. Did you know that?
Youth of Mary started as a blog! The idea was to cover the National Youth Pilgrimage. However, as time went by, the project took different formats until becoming a site on A12.com.
Inauguration of the site
During the preparation to the World Youth Journey Rio 2013, the National Sanctuary of Aparecida created this channel turned specifically to the Christian youth.
Young editorship
We won the space with the Portal young editorship. We already had content with news, educational articles (Growing in Faith) and about youth daily life (Behavior). The JMTV, in addition to special contents, launched the program “Pra Pensar” (to think) and the vlog “Vem Gente” (come everyone). And we also became the official vehicle for promotion of the Hallel Aparecida.
Music, radio and more videos
With the contest Solte a Voz (belt out), we launched our theme-song. And besides internet, we entered the Radio Aparecida! That’s when Papo JM (JM chatter) started. Then, following the Church, we started to study the YouCat. And we have also started an interstate partnership with the program DoLadoDeCá, recorded in Fortaleza.
3 years later...
We began 2015 with a series of 3 pontos (3 points) vlog. In June, we launched two more programs: I’m a Youth of Mary and Trends. And to help us go ahead with this project, today we count on 7 columnists who write about Faith, Behavior, Health and Entertainment.
Besides the whole A12 editorial staff, who helps accomplish this project.
